The teams of the National Parks Gran Paradiso and Vanoise met on December the 2nd in Modane to prepare together their common work programme for 2010.

Both parks cooperate since a long time: first common activities already took place in the seventies. With a common natural heritage, their have many opportunities to work together, for instance for ibex monitoring or flora studies.

Many common activities took place in 2009, and the coodination meeting in past December allowed the parks to define various further common projects for 2010, like for example transboundary school exchanges between these french and italian areas.
