We’ve known Alparc for over ten years and participate in some of their initiatives.

This has certainly given us the possibility of broadening our horizons towards a more European and supranational vision of our being protected areas (…)

The exchange of ideas, of experiences and good practice, encouraged by a motivated and efficient staff, represent assets from which our Parks have been able to draw, and from which we have received useful indications with regard both to daily operations and to the development of ambitious projects (…)

Moreover, in our specific case, Alparc has constituted the ideal framework within which to develop a privileged relationship with the Triglav National Park in Slovenia, which is the source of many high-profile shared projects.
Nor can we forget the relations at a human level that have developed both with the individuals directly involved in the network and with colleagues met at the events organised by the staff. The Danilo Re trophy, together with the social moments during workshops and congresses have enabled us to develop relations which despite the physical distance constitute the real powerhouse of a strong and active partnership.
